Created more than 50 years ago, Theraplay belongs to the family of dyadic therapies (Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, DDP,) and has been recognized by the Association of Play Therapy as one of the seven flagship psychotherapies for children.

Theraplay® in practice
During the sessions, fun activities are set up by the Theraplay therapist. They guide the parent and the child in their interactions in a way that creates shared joyful moments. Neither randomly chosen nor simple games, these activities are designed specifically to reproduce the first relational experiences leading to a secure attachment.
